Enrollment Process
A prospective student must be enrolled in a DCSC school and be eligible for enrollment in grades 8-12. All potential candidates for the Warrior Way Academy must be referred by the administration of DCSC and DCHS guidance. To determine a student’s eligibility for placement at WWA, the entrance committee will consist of the student, parent/guardian, school
representative(s) and WWA director. The committee will determine the candidate’s acceptance into the program.
Initial Interview Meeting:
The initial interview meeting will be established by DCHS guidance and the WWA director and will meet at DCHS. The meeting must include the student, parent/guardian, home school representative and a representative of WWA. During the initial meeting, the student/parent contract will be completed, a short interview questionnaire with the student will also be completed, and the Individual Student Plan will be developed.
