Due Process and Removal from the Program
Students enrolled at the WWA will be afforded all due process procedures as outlined by the Indiana General Assembly. If a student is withdrawn from the WWA for any reason and may be subject to expulsion from the home school, the parent/guardian is asked to contact DCSC/DCHS for information concerning the due process provisions.
Removal from Program:
A student may be removed from the program for a variety of reasons, mainly for non-compliance, behavior code violation, or complete lack of effort/progress. The Director of the WWA will consult with guidance and the school principal prior to removing a student from the program. The decision to remove a student from the program will be the cooperative decision of the Director of the WWA and the DCHS Principal.
