DCHS Alternative Education Program

It is a pleasure to welcome you to the DCSC alternative education program, the Warrior Way Academy. For some students, the process of learning can become a daunting, daily routine which leads to learning disengagement and subsequent academic failure for various reasons. For some of these students the WWA may offer them an opportunity to once again re-engage in the learning process; thereby helping them redeem themselves academically and personally. The students who benefit from the learning opportunity offered by the WWA come from various walks of life, each with a unique story that has led them to be considered at risk of not earning credits and/or graduating. Please remember, alternative education does not mean that the students who attend the WWA are “bad,” it is simply an alternative path to learning.
